The story still went on ....
I guess this Valentine's day still has its magical moments.
Remember when Ezekiel said that he would make a 'tulip' flower from origami paper for his teacher? "Because I love her and I want to make her happy", he said. That night after our special candle-light-instant- noodles-and-CocaCola dinner, I reminded him about his promise. He then argued with his mom about how to make this origami flower. It ended up with him saying, "I'll do it tomorrow."
Well, I thought he was not going to make it. Just another kid's promise that would end up as 'Later' answer.
It then turned out that he did make a 'tulip' flower from origami paper. He gave one to his amazed teacher. He even gave her another chocolate. And to make the story even better. He showed his skills with origami paper to his friends and gave some to them. Plane, flower, samurai hat, and some other models.
Ezekiel said, "I don't go outside of the classroom during break. I stayed in the classroom and make those origami models. It's fun. I gave the flower to my teacher. My friends also like it. So I made some to them. I had fun."
GREAT JOB, MY SON.
